Trustee Walter Kriese
My wife and I moved to Hainesville, in June, 2003. My wife, Agnes , and I have been married for 35 years. We have two children, Ericka and Kenneth, and two grandchildren, Zachary and Daniella. Moving here from Chicago, we needed to adapt to a new lifestyle, more laid back, friendly and quiet. Hainesville has given us that with many new friends and a place to call home.
I have been employed with the same company for over 28 years and hopefully I’ll retire from there, one day. Through the many years of employment there, I have been involved on numerous committees for continuous improvement, to make our facility a more productive, healthier and safer place to work. Also, I was involved in our Local Union and had been elected the Shop Chairman of the Bargaining Committee.
As your Trustee, I have to make sure that we are financially sound, that we keep this community safe, and that we continue to provide the services needed for our Community. August 9th, 2011 Mayor Linda Soto appointed me as Public Safety Chairperson. I look forward to serving the residents of Hainesville to the best to my abilities throughout my term.
