Trustee Gerry Daley
My wife, my daughter and I moved to Hainesville in January, 1997. My wife, Mary, and I have been married for almost 33 years and my daughter, Emily, will graduate from Grayslake Central HS in 2011. We have enjoyed our 13 some years in Hainesville and found it to be a great place to make a home and friends.
I retired December 31, 2008 from Mundelein High School where I served the past 12 years as a teacher, Department Chair, and as the Assistant Principal. Overall, I have 31 years of experience in public education with most of those years spent as an administrator. Over the years, I have earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Education from Western Illinois University; a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration from Sangamon State University (now know as University of Illinois, Springfield), and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Educational Administration from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.
As your Trustee my goals are as I stated during my campaign. I wish to support a transparent Board and to maintain a fiscally conservative stance that would keep the Village tax burden as low as possible while still providing the residents with the services they want and need.
